It’s shaping up to be a beautiful weekend in Brooklyn with temperatures in the upper 70s and lower 80s. The sun will be shining on both Saturday and Sunday, according to the National Weather Service, so be sure to check out one or a few of these great events.

From 1920s lawn parties on Governors Island to a Wu-Tang Clan performance in Coney Island, there’s something for everyone.

1. Party like Gatsby on Governors Island

Transport back to the Roaring ’20s at Governors Island’s 14th Annual Jazz Age Lawn Party. It’s the world’s largest prohibition era-inspired gathering.

2. Get down at Brooklyn Mirage

After a reading of “Crossing Brooklyn Ferry” from “Leaves of Grass,” Greg Trupiano and Stefan Killen will bring to life the “physical spaces of DUMBO through the literary themes of water, time and our interconnected modern, democratic life in America.”

5. Catch a movie in the open air

Bring a blanket, a picnic basket and relax on Governors Island for a showing of “School of Rock” with Jack Black. There will be a pre-show DJ kicking off at 6 p.m. with the film slated to start at dusk. Enjoy a cold one from Threes Brewing at a beer garden and watch the sun set behind the Statue of Liberty.

6. Go shopping at the museum

More than 30 vendors will be descending on the Brooklyn Museum’s plaza this weekend to sell a variety wares. With Father’s Day on Sunday, you can buy dad a last-minute present. There will be artwork, trinkets, home goods and so much more for sale at this market reminiscent of Brooklyn Flea.

7. Paddle around the East River

Brooklyn Public Library, in collaboration with the Prospect Park Alliance, is offering University Open Air, a free three-week series of classes outside in the Rose Garden. There are more than six different events on Saturday, so be sure to check out the full schedule to see which one interests you.

9. See ballet at BAM

See Canada’s most beloved contemporary dance company Ballet BC perform at the Brooklyn Academy of Music this weekend. Dance Magazine calls them “physically rigorous, dramatically solid, and truly contemporary.”

10. Dance the day away at Mr. Sunday
